Our History

Mark Twain is proud to be part of the history of this community. Bill and Debbie were part of the Fish family that owned and operated long term care homes in Moberly and Huntsville. Mark Twain of Moberly was built by Bill and Debbie Fish in 1993. Bill acted as the Administrator while Debbie was the LPN Director. It was the first locally owned assisted Living facility in Moberly. In May of 2001, Kathryn Miller who owned and operated homes in Paris and Hannibal since 1983 purchased Mark Twain. As the years progressed, additions and renovations were done to increase the safety and comfort of Residents, staff and visitors. Today, that progress continues with amenities not found in other facilities for such an affordable price.
